As part of celebrating 17 Years of DEVCON: Engineering an AI-Ready Nation, this chapter proved that scale and heart can share the same room. The year ran on five flagship events: a Game Jam that brought student and pro developers together, Grassroots Blockchain in Education with ICP bringing smart contract code camps to local universities, Elevate and Empowher with She is DEVCON and UXPH inspiring women into tech leadership, a Philippine Blockchain Week segment spotlighting iThink Hackathon finalists, and a global stage moment at WOCEE. Hour of AI reached five schools and roughly 600 students this year, the first time the program entered the District of Manila. In the words of the DEVCON Manila team, last year reinforced that people management matters as much as task completion, and that sustainable growth comes from trust and alignment within the team, not just executing events.
