Before participants touched a single tool, they went through a structured session on critical thinking and problem solving, learned how to write a Product Requirements Document (PRD) as the first real step of their development process, and immediately got to apply it to their own projects. Every prototype built today was grounded in purpose and structure, not just output. That is what PROMPTWARS was designed to do. Not just teach students how to prompt an AI, but train them to think like builders first: define the problem, frame the solution, write the requirements, then use the technology to bring it to life. The energy, the pitches, and the ideas that came out of today's event proved that Filipino students are more than ready for that challenge. Looking back at March 28, 2026, the national kickoff of the Move Smart Code Camp officially took flight with a massive pilot at Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros. Volunteers from DEVCON Manila dedicated their time and expertise to running 3 parallel classrooms simultaneously, giving participants an invaluable opportunity to dive deep into the Sui ecosystem, build portfolios, explore Web3, and write their first Sui Move smart contracts. What spark started in the historic walls of Intramuros is now officially igniting a nationwide movement. Following that incredible launch, code camps have already been successfully completed in Bukidnon and Iloilo, and the momentum is moving faster than ever.
