From Curiosity to Code

Good day. This is the story of a girl named Julieza, a 22-year-old who has developed a deep love for coding. Just four years ago, Julieza had no knowledge of programming. However, she had some understanding of computers because her father worked as a computer instructor at ALS.

One day, Julieza watched her father at work and was amazed by his skills and passion for technology. This moment of inspiration led her to explore the world of tech more deeply. She decided to pursue a degree in computer science, aiming to follow in her father’s footsteps and make a mark in the tech industry.

Driven by her curiosity and desire to learn more, Julieza chose to volunteer at DevCon, a community dedicated to advancing technology. She believed that volunteering would provide her with the opportunity to expand her knowledge and gain valuable experience.

Julieza chose to focus her efforts in Mindanao because she was impressed by the people there. She found that the community in Mindanao was filled with individuals who were passionate about learning and evolving. Moreover, she admired their humility and eagerness to acquire new knowledge, which resonated with her own values and aspirations.
